Frequently Asked Questions
Why should I purchase your equipment instead of using a service?
Many reputable companies can clean and disinfect your office, practice, or home. Most of these companies charge up to $.20 per square foot. At that price, a typical 2,500 square foot office would cost $500 for a one-time service. When financed, our package cost under $300 per month and can be used whenever and wherever you chose.
How does UVC light work?
UVC light is a well-studied technology that has been around for many years. Hospitals have been using this technology in operating rooms for decades to sterilize and disinfect. Ultraviolet light (UVC) at a targeted 254 nanometer wavelength is categorized as germicidal – giving it the ability to inactivate or kill bacteria, viruses, fungi, and protozoa. Depending on the size of a room and the strength of the light source, UVC light can effectively disinfect a room in a matter of minutes.

Is UVC safe?
UVC can be harmful to people and animals if exposed. We recommend not being in the room when the UVC light is disinfecting. Our light comes with a remote application that allows you to turn the light on and off. In addition, our light is equipped with a sensor that will detect motion in the room. If anyone enters the room while the light is working, the light will automatically shut off.
Is Hypochlorous Acid (HOCl) an effective disinfectant?
Yes. HOCl is an ideal disinfectant and uses no toxic chemicals. It is environmentally friendly and safe for people and animals. HOCl is 80 to 100 times more effective than hypochlorite (bleach) and is registered by the EPA. When used as an aerosol (fogging), it is an effective way to inactivating viruses and bacteria from all surfaces.

How do I know my room is sanitized?
The effects of UVC light can be measured with a dosimeter card. When you purchase the light, you will receive a pack of dosimeter cards that will validate the UVC effectiveness in disinfecting the room.
The fogger can produce a flow rate of between 8 and 16 gallons per hour and can cover an area of 350 sq. ft. in less than a minute. You can adjust the droplet size between 5-50 microns and spray at a distance of up to 25 ft., all ensuring you ample air and surface coverage throughout the area being disinfected.
How long will it take to disinfect a room?
The UVC light can disinfect a 10×10 room in about 10 minutes. Fogging the same room with HOCl will take an additional minute. The light can disinfect a 700 sq. ft. room in about 20 minutes.
How often will I have to replace the UVC bulbs?
Each bulb has a lifespan of about 9,000 hours. Depending on the size of your facility, the average user will replace bulbs about once a year. Bulbs can be purchased from your sales representative.
Does the equipment come with a warranty?
Yes. The UVC light comes with a 10-year warranty on the housing, a 3-year warranty on the UVC power source, and a 1-year warranty on the UVC lamps, sleeves, and sensors. The fogger comes with a 1-year warranty.
